2 days in a row

Well, this is a minor miracle in itself. Day 2 and I'm putting something on my blog.

I've no doubt it will be boring but I'm sure it's all about the participating, these days. Isn't that what the kids are being taught in school?? It doesn't matter if you win or lose, it's the fact you participated (not even 'how you played the game' as it was in myyyyy day). Not sure if that means you can participate and be a right whinging pain in the arse, play terribly unfairly and sabotage all the other participants and it's still ok? Hmmmm, something to ponder.

I'm sitting here on the couch, waiting for my 9.5 wk old son to wake for a feed. No doubt, it'll happen about the time I get into the swing of this typing thingy and my creative flow will be reduced back to a trickle. Or, more likely, a drip.

Still, it's a lovely place to sit and I can see out to the front garden, in which I just saw a small bandicoot hop by. We've had him living in the garden for some time but I was concerned he'd met his demise, when I saw one hit on the road a couple of weeks ago. I guess I can rest easy now but it does make me feel a bit guilty that I don't even recognise him..........they DO truly all look the same though (unless they are different a variety of bandicoot).

And, as if on cue (I'm kidding myself that the last paragraph was creative), little Fin has awoken and is screaming for food.

I might get back to this later and tell you about the mouse and rabbit I saw in our back garden........rivetting tales of mine, I know.

All manner of thoughts........

I'm not sure what this blog is supposed to contain but will likely be about everything and nothing (as George/Georgina spoke about with Colonel Melchett on the night he asked 'her' to marry him!).

I've always enjoyed writing but never had the patience or inclination (ie, I am a lazy git) to really put pen to paper. In testament to that laziness, I'm still not putting pen to paper. Let's face it, when you can type at least 5 times faster than you can write........why would you?

This could be the start of something special or it could be the start of one of a million blogs that are created, only to be left swimming in the ether of the internet, with one or two pathetic posts..............it remains to be seen :)
